FAQ’S
How do we make up classes that we miss?
We realize that everyone has CRAZY schedules and kids get sick, so we are super pumped about our 3 flexible make up options:
- We offer a FREE extra week of classes at the end of each session for those families that miss a regular class! All you have to do is show up at your regular class time on make up week!
- You can make up a class by attending a different class time throughout the week instead! (Please arrange with your teacher in advance when possible.) You do not need to attend that class on the same week you miss – you can always do that later (or earlier, if you know about the missed class in advance).
- If you have a child that is not enrolled in Kindermusik, you can bring them to an age-appropriate class to use your enrolled child’s missed class.
If you miss a class at the end of a session and don’t have time to make it up, don’t worry! Your make ups will roll over to the following session and you can use them then.
**Please note that we do not refund for missed classes. Many of our classes are very full, and we have to hold the spot for your child even when you’re not there. However, we have found that our make up policy is quite flexible and easy to use for our families!
How do I pay?
After enrolling, you should receive an email from Rojas School of Music with login information to our portal where you can go and securely add your payment method.nd easy to use for our families!
Do I have to go through the enrollment process every time you start a new session?
In the past, we had so many families forget to re-enroll and show up for classes! To make life easier on you, once you enroll in a class, you’ll automatically be enrolled for the next session unless you tell us you’d like to take a break! Please let us know (by emailing Ms. Nikki at nikki@rojasschoolofmusic.com) at least 1 week in advance of the new session starting.
Can both parents attend class time, or just one? Can I have another family member or friend bring my child?
Feel free to bring more than one adult per child. If both parents are able to come, or a grandparent is in town, etc, all are welcome! Also, we have lots of children attend with grandparents, aunts/uncles, nannies, and more!
We love the songs we hear in Kindermusik! How can we listen at home?
Your Kindermusik Enrollment comes with digital access to resources like music, stories, and more! You can access these resources by visiting my.kindermusik.com and creating an account using the email address you used to enroll once your class has begun.
Once your account has been created, please download the free Kindermusik app (visit kindermusik.com/app for details) and log in with your Kindermusik credentials to enjoy your digital materials on the go.
You will have access to these resources one week after each session ends. Beyond that, you will retain your “Best of” album on the app, and three bonus tracks from class that you can select within your my.kindermusik account.
Nikki Maucere
Kindermusik Teacher
For Ms. Nikki, music is at the core of who she is. Her name (Nicole Chantal) even means Song Leader! It’s in her blood. Nikki’s mother, grandfather, and great grandfather were all clarinet players. She started playing clarinet in 1997 and performed in bands for 11 years, as well as becoming captain of the color guard at Colleyville Heritage her senior year of high school. In 2009, Nikki graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor’s in Music and an emphasis in Business.
After college, Nikki was able to use her skills in music and business to launch herself in the promotional products industry where she was named a PPAI Rising Star in 2013. A desire to balance more time with her family led Nikki to make her mark as a mamaprenuer as she formed her own promotional products company in 2015, giving her the flexibility to get back to her roots in music as a Kindermusik teacher! She learned from the best when she worked with Kat’s Musik for over a year, and she’s excited to be back in the classroom where she belongs.
It’s always been obvious to Nikki how much music is integral to early development, and that’s what brought Nikki to bring her two sweet kiddos, Emilia and Luca, to Kindermusik. Luca was struggling with his speech and cognitive skills, and Kindermusik made such an impact in all of his areas of development! Watching her two kids flourish in their music classes inspired Nikki to become an educator, where she has been able to bring her passion and skills for music to others.
